With over 30 years of experience in coffee farming, Mr. Abdul Karim shares his knowledge about cultivating high-quality green coffee beans using traditional and sustainable methods. Part 1 - Our Ibb farm introduction.

Nestled at an altitude of 2,000 meters in the lush city of Ibb, this remarkable farm grows the world-famous Udaini coffee, celebrated for its exceptional quality. 

With over 20,000 coffee plants, some over 45 years old, this farm relies on natural methods, such as organic fertilization and traditional pest control. Protected by buckthorn trees and nurtured by summer rains, the coffee trees flourish in harmony with nature. 

As the summer rains end, the farm anticipates a bountiful harvest, thanks to their unwavering commitment to sustainable farming practices.

Part 2 - Alternative natural solutions.

Mr. Abdul Karim shares innovative natural solutions:

"There is a natural solution replacing these shrubs—grape vine flowers.

In autumn, these flowers fall gracefully, hanging like bells on spider webs and drawing in harmful insects, which are then captured by the spiders. You'll see the white Cordia blossoms spread across the entire field, acting as a natural fertilizer. 

Our crop is gradually ripening, and we harvest with precision, carefully selecting only what's ready and leaving the rest to fully mature. Using scientific methods, we dry the beans on specially prepared nets, exposing them to sunlight for just 1-2 hours daily before placing them in the shade. 

Finally, we export this rare, high-quality Yemeni coffee to consumers with refined taste."
